Background & Introduction
It was started by two staff (Hanabel and Emmanuel.)  who were managed by Mrs. Joyce Osei Owusu Larbie now the General Manager and Board Secretary of the company. They started with a capital of Gh¢800 giving as loans to drivers and station traders at Kaneshie. Interestingly, monies were carried along during all visits with the readiness to grant loans on the field. Loans were collected daily, weekly or monthly depending on the customers’ choice.

From such a humble beginning, Jorbies has grown with current staff population of over hundred (100) field officers, over twenty (20) field supervisors and office workers and customer base of over ten thousand (10,000).
Hard work, dedication, honesty and resilience have catapulted the company to greater heights, enabling us to expand to the Eastern, Ashanti, Central, Brong Ahafo and adding branches to our Greater Accra branch.

This success has been made possible due to the commitment and loyalty Jorbies has towards its customers. The satisfaction of our customers is our main job and we strive hard to ensure that we exceed the expectations of customers and delight them. This is reflected in our constant introduction of new products and interesting services to meet the demands of our customers. Jorbies train has taken off and with God’s approval and hard work, the sky is our limit.
